It's been brought to my attention by Robin that my website has been hacked?

I'm obviously new here, so how does Castlecops work? How did Robin know my website has been hacked?

Well we have several teams here which combat the not so nice things of the Internet, including but not limited to Rootkits and other kinds of malware, phishing, spam etc. We also have some other more general help forums. I knew your site had been exploited because of my work with those teams and industry experts. We were advised of a site which needed to be taken down, and through the course of investigating things many exploited sites were found. After confirming your site was indeeded being exploited and not just on a list of targets, I sent an email so you would be aware there was an issue with your current configuration.

There should have been a link in the email which would have shown you the mailer. If you looked at that link earlier today, it probably didn't work, and that is because one of the two sites involved in the spam has been shut down. I would be happy to help you locate the source of the exploit if you like. All I need is the URL I sent to you in the email, you don't need to include the domain, just the path is fine.
