We have a samsung e316 and recently bought a usb data cable so we could download our pics to our pc.
All that came with the cable is a web site that downloaded the hardware(?)
That seems successfull but there are no other directions.
I hope someone is able to help with directions on how to get these pictures onto my computer.

There should be instructions in your users manual or on the Samsung's website.

FYI: Hardware is generally stuff like the printer, monitor, keyboard, motherboard, powersupply, etc...

Software is the programs and such. This is what was downloaded. You can look in the folder that was created for a "Read Me" file. Most software comes with these instructions.
