Paul, your site looks great.
I was wondering where to post on MS vulnerabilities -- I suspect the "Software/Microsoft" forum is the most logical.
Also, I wonder if it would be useful to maintain a list of important MS vulnerabilities on your site? Something akin to this:
http://jscript.dk/unpatched/
Just a thought. Take care.

Welcome back to the new forums R2. Yes, the MS forum is perfect for that. As to keeping a list of vulnerabilities, someone had volunteered to help with that in the early days but nothing has come to fruition. Would you like to help me get it up and running (possibly maintaining)? _________________ Paul Laudanski - http://www.laudanski.com

I did not forget about this -- quite the contrary, I have bee trying to learn more about this. I am still very confused on some issues. Posts on various boards have been less than enlightening -- so, this usually means more work for me to do....

I don't have nearly as good of excuses.
I am just trying to get a better understanding of how these work. It seems like there are several categories:
1) those that CAN be blocked in the Restricted site
2) those that are not blocked in the Restricted site
Obviously, the later ones are more serious. Then you can look at it like:
1) Those that are due to errors in IE
2) Those that seem to be due to unforeseen problems in HTML coding
I am learning a lot -- and hopefully I can put something useful together. Given the speed at which MS fixes holes, I should have plenty of time!

One has to admit, that for all the vulnerabilities that came out in the past, just how many times were you (or I, or anyone else we know for that matter), really affected?
That's because we're security concious. _________________ Paul Laudanski - http://www.laudanski.com
