Why would you email Paul about a spam post? Just use the Blue Card and report it to the moderator staff. That is what the button is for and why the staff exists.

The point is that if you click the "blue card", all moderators are alerted. If you PM just one, it may take much longer until action can be taken. Paul may be sleeping, taking a shower, or otherwise being away from the computer.
