I have been reading a book called 2008 God's final witness by Ronald Weinland in which he postulates that we are in the end times.I know that's nothing new folks have been saying that for over 2000 years. He also states that he is one of the two prophets that God is going to send to witness his truth to the world.Or what's left of it before the final curtain
I am not here to mock the man. For all I know he may be right.

I encourage all to read this for themselves, you can get the book in download or a free copy in the mail from HERE But I warn you it's not sugarcoated like the left behind stuff, more like A sock in the jaw.
In his book he postulates that we are currently in the midst of the seven thunders of the sixth seal which began with 9/11 and will soon witness the opening of the seventh.which will herald the destruction of America and her allies. Not a pleasant thought for me.Certain persons will rejoice at the thought, but rest assured you will not enjoy it for long [and you know who you are]
Weinland's book echoes a feeling I have been having for some time now, prior to my reading. That as great as America is,or has been indeed I still believe she is the best, that the mind of man has yet devised. That we have become decadent and our republic is failing.Witness the debacle which is our current election cycle. But enough of the political. Read it for yourselves .

Don't be daft, just read it for what it is, a work of recycled fiction and a lot of wishful thinking and negative thinking at that Wink

Hi VastlyRight.

I had mentioned that book and the other one as well back in March here, Eschatology and had been meaning to get back to it, but CastleCops has the annoying habit of not being available when I have the time to do so!

As I recall, a major U.S. city was supposed to be nuked in April, however, if one follows the links from Ronald's site, and listens to the interview he did in early April, he is already backing off from some of these statements, and unless I missed it, I am not aware of any cities being destroyed in the U.S. The biggest news last time I checked was the naming of the second prophet, not surprisingly, his wife.

Thanks cudni for the standard atheist [ I presume] reaction.
the truth of it will be revealed in the fullness of time no mater what you or I choose to believe.
In the meantime I will continue to prepare for the future as best I can in case there is one.But I cannot ignore this epiphany I am having either.
We are headed for hard times, there is indeed much wickedness in this world and I am ashamed to confess I have found too much of it entertaining.Even if Weinland is just another chicken little doesn't negate the possibility that the big picture will unfold as foretold.Scripture can be frightening or reassuring,a comfort or a curse.depending on one's POV.

A true prophet is never wrong,if indeed his words come from God.That is how the false are exposed I will look into this and get back to you, memory is a funny thing.we can't always be sure of it.

Hi seafsee I finally got around to checking out that link on Eschatology and listened to a couple of interviews linked to on Weinland's webpage.Near as I understoood the date april 17th is when the second trump of the seventh seal sounded and weinland stated that the first nukes would go off 45-90 days after that,if I heard right. So the jury is still out til July 9th by my quick count down on my calendar. My isn't this exciting! I sure had the shivering creeps for a while there. Anyway no need to run for the hills just yet.Never a bad Idea for me to clean up my act somewhat in the meantime, regardless. The idea that we could get nuked by terrorists reallly isn't so preposterous as it might have seemed on Sept 10 2001.particularly seeing how some in positions of power here haven't been much help these days in terms of our ability to gather intel and secure the border since then and it's a bipartisan lunacy. But I wax political again and this isn't the place for that.

I will take it up further in the other thread.

I have to look back at the book. I recall him saying then this would happen "early spring". Now in the interviews, he's pushing the date back and as you have calculated, the date now falls in mid summer.

Certain religions were calling for "end times" in the late 1800's and I see no reason to think it is more likely to happen now than it did then.

IMHO, we ARE in End Times. By 2010, we'll be in the age of Aquarius, the water bearer as in the bible.

And he invites you in...GO!!! For crying out loud...Enter!!!

Perhaps "Aquarius" (the water bearer) is a "protector from evil?

That's my opinion, IMHO I just dunno anymore, there are "false prophets" that are too many to count now. They spin & lie & bring evil upon you!

Respect, Love & Peace!

I haven't finished the book yet,so I cannot address any comparison between that and the interviews.

In the late 1800's there was no state of Israel as alluded to in Revelation.Yet today, miraculously [IMO] there is and that is a key piece of the timeline.
Some,I am aware, chalk this up to the cunning of the "zionist Jew" but again IMO it could only have been accomplished via supernatural means to an end [time]

Among the things Weinland [et al] teach that I agree with, whether he is a prophet or not.
The sabbath is Saturday as in the jewish tradition
there is no scriptural reason for a sunday sabbath.
the celebrations of Christmas and Easter are adaptations from pagan practise.
The idea that the trinity are 3 separate entities, when they are different manifestations of the one almighty God.

All of these are traceable to Catholic teaching.

That most protestant churches accept these errors and continue to teach them.

All the above pretty much disproves the claim of papal infallibility.
Like the man says, either one is right and the other is wrong or they are both wrong, they cannot both be right.

the teaching of a pre tribulation rapture is also an error. It will cause many to fall away from the [apostate] church when the apocalypse hits the fan.

I was awaken by Mom this morn. I couldn't sleep @ All until @ 4:00 AM...So I took another "sleeper" & I crashed. I had my phone (GE®) on "Do Not Disturb" & goes right to answer machine & it doesn't ring & tuned off my cell phone & let it charge.

Well...where Mom has her own keys to enter, she thought somthing was wrong as she came @ 10:00 & that was my med time, but I had to have something to eat. I ate a big breakfast & the only thing that makes some off the "Horse Pills" slide down easily is "choco milk" Very Happy I just love the stuff. I even put it on my oatmeal & other grain cereals with flax & choco milk, although I usually put white. Oatmeal, grain cereals & cream of wheat is just GR8 with choco milk! Very Happy

IMHO...I agree wholeheartedly with your post my dear. Thumbs Up

End times ARE comming soon & Bush wants Canada, USA & Mexico to "merge" & place a V-Chip in all of us!!!

What's gonna happen to Canada's GR8 hospital (free) & welfare system??? IF this happens. IMHO I hope Osama Barrack becomes President.

I think Marilyn Monroe would come back & sing Happy Birthday for him on his Birthday! Smile But she did that for JFK & not soon after was assinated. That's what I think would happen to Barrack Crying or Very sad Plus where he's Black, et al. Plus those southern redneck, confederate flag wavin' Fundamentalists or so-called Christians would be furious & they all tote rifles in the back of thier pickups for all to see. Such hipocrisy & judgment! Rolling Eyes Sad

Oh well...My post is getting long & I just got back from visiting my two older bros in the burbs Laughing which is @ 15-20 drive & gas is sooooooo expensive. $1.24.8 /per litre, which is a tad smaller that a quart.

See Ya Later All & JACQ-E POO (I Wuv U) I'll try to get down this summer. If not, it's still warmer in Autumn now than it is Spring!!! The billionaire people you speak if in your quote are screwing up Mother Earth & getting Mother Nature all upset with all the cutting of the Rain Forests, Pollutants in our air, but they don't care! IMHO! Sad

Anyhow...

Y'all Take Good Care...Respect, Love & Peace! heart

P.S. (I wish & hope there was no war????)

Oh David! I wasn't gonna come back to this here post but then I saw You wrote something & I just had to come back here.

& I had oatmeal this am too! (still had some from when I had that problem with my tooth) & I left my cell phone at work on Friday as I was rushing to leave. & then last nite I slept like a baby too! (& are You sure We're Not related? maybe only by heart's & that's good enuff 4 me!)

& I really Hope You can visit me this summer? Imagine if You came on the 4th of July? I can see the FireWorks now! (& wouldn't it be nice if they had a very small emoticon of FireWorks exploding?)

I think Marilyn Monroe was born either the day after or before my birthday? (Of course separated by many years too) & what a tragic life she lived too Sad I wish She was still around.

Now I'm a little sad, thinking about that beautiful Candle in the Wind.

Maybe this is a good time to say g'bye? before someone starts ranting about going "off topic & again!"

ok - I'll see what positive something or other I find in that EndTime book I guess. Pickings will surely be slim tho I'm thinning.

wuv U2 heart
bye!

And perhaps this supernatural force had a hand in causing the Holocaust so as to speed matters along? Or did the Israelis have a Will to Survive unknown to most Americans. How does one differentiate between the "true" prophet and the endless stream of kooks who appear on the scene? Will you let the Rev. Moon marry you? Read about the Millerites and their Great Disappointment when the world didn't go poof at the appointed time. Is one automatically an atheist if he disagrees with you and/or your thesis? Does Kool-Ade ring a bell? Or the mass suicide several years ago here in San Diego? Is this book given away free of charge, or is there more of a Prophet Motive here than meets the eye?
