MRP performed. Avira in systray, scans daily. Earlier today scanned with SuperAntiSpyware and Windows Defender. Also have Windows Malicious Removal Tool. Always full scans only. For some reason, downloaded AntiMalwareBytes and three Trojans were found. Nine-day-old computer. Want to make absolutely sure that it is completely clean.

Hello Felix,

So you ran Malwarebytes...can you post me the log from it?

The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

MBAM's Lead Developer advised that results were false positives and that this would be included in their next (at that time) update. However, IE and several other programs have become inaccessible.

Xxxxxxx, those were false positives.

C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Mobile Broadband\systray.exe (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Systray (Trojan.Agent) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Can you please click on the Quarantine tab and restore those. I will have them fixed in the next update.

Did you restore those entries of MBAM?

You say IE and some other programs are not accessible...what other programs and what is happening? Are you getting any messages? You could always do a system restore to see if this fixes the problem.

Computer was so new that earliest restore point will not help. Windows Media Center and Media Player also unavailable. Notepad had been missing from Programs list but I was able to put it back. Will try Restore Disc, search back-ups.

Do my HiJackThis Logs show any malware presence?

There are a few services that seem to be running from the temp file that we can fix.

Go to Start>Run and type:
services.msc

Next, scroll down the list to look for these and double click on each, then click on "Stop":
IGVKRFI
LJBM
PSFEC
TSADHOYZSLVH
WCMCE

After doing this, run HJT again and this time go to the Misc. Tools Section.
Click on "Delete an NT service"

Type in each of the names listed above that you stopped and delete each.

Post a new HJT log.

Oh one more question, did you install an antivirus program called ThreatFire and then uninstall it?

HiJackThis "unable to delete" all items mentioned. Is it able to do this in Vista? Also found DBYRI and DE files on services.msc list which appear to be similar to the five already known.

I installed and then uninstalled Threatfire which came along with PCTools Firewall Plus.
