I need some help in how to setup (edit) Gary's Not A Recipient filter. At times I get a lot of marked messages for this filter that are not spam. I have not done any editing to this filter because I do not understand the format of the changes I need to make.

When you click Edit simply enter in all your e-mail addresses separated by a pipe '|'
So it will look something like
If the To Field >> Does not Contain RegExpr >> myfirst@emailaddress.com|mysecond@emailaddress.com
If the CC Field >> Does not Contain RegExpr >> myfirst@emailaddress.com|mysecond@emailaddress.com
It's possible to that the messages being marked by this filter are newsletters, which can often not have your address in the To field at all, rather the name of the distribution list ?
Or perhaps someone is entering your address in the BCC field (Blind Carbon Copy) which Mailwasher cannot search for a match ?

Thanks for the help, rusticdog! I've gotten a bit lazy with my filter settings, so I just use my mailbox name, as opposed to the entire e-mail address (myfirst|mysecond, as opposed to myfirst@emailaddress.com|mysecond@emailaddress.com).
Yes, this filter may catch newsletters, so should be used in conjunction with the "[1] Mailing List* (T)" filter, which should also be customi[sz]ed to accept your newsletters/mailing lists. You should toggle off your "[2] Vague Recipient (T)" filter once you have these set up, as they are much more efficient.
BTW, if you do put your full address in the Not a Recipient filter, and you're anal (like me), you might want to "escape" the period, as it's actually a wildcard in Regular Expressions. So:
myfirst@emailaddress\.com|mysecond@emailaddress\.com
It should work fine without doing that, however. _________________ Gary
