Good to hear. However, now the computer is horribly slow, and I can't seem to use firefox, and I can't get to my mail...
I will do a reboot now and see if it gets any better.
Is my Norton incompatible with the BitDefender?
Should I keep the BitDefender?
And which software tools would you reccomand for me to use for security in the future?

Before you answer that last post, let me say that I just uninstalled that trial copy of BitDefender, and the system is back to seeming normal. Let me delve a little more, and I will write back shortly.
Thank you so very much for your time and expertise.

Yes, you can delete Bitdefender and Malwarebytes.
I also want you to do a search for this and delete:
C:\SDFix\backups\backups.zip
I then also want you to go to Start>Run and type:'
ComboFix /u
Reboot. Tell me how things are now.

Ok, All these things are apparently deleted.
Everything seems to be working well.
Should I leave Recovery Consul installed?
And, that other question; what configuration of security software would you recommend?
I am currently running these:
Norton Anti Virus 15.5.0.23
AdAware 2007
Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2.20
Spyware Doctor 5.5.0.212
Windows Firewall
