The fact that my ideals perturb members of the right and members of the left indicates that I am looking at things the right way.

A ray is a series of points in perfect alignment whose range is limited in one direction. A line is a series of points in perfect alignment whose range is not limited in either direction. A segment is a series of points in perfect alignment whose range is limited in both directions. that is my understanding anyway.

P.S: When I say "...a series of points in perfect alignment..." I mean as such created by the intersection of two planes.

Why do you keep asking me for numerical representations of my categorizations? If you must know, I suppose I perturb more members of the right than members of the left. There is a saying that I have heard in regard to judges. The saying goes something like this, "when both the counsel for the prosecution and the counsel for the defense meet in my chambers I try to make sure that neither of them leave happy, and this ensures me that I have made the right decision". I was generalizing for the sake of levity, by the way. I guess I should have made that more obvious. Sorry, if I have unintentionally offended you.

No it is not inherently wise. It does demonstrate a lack of bias. This is my, and hopefully the judge's, goal.
