Generals doesn't take long to get the hang of. In fact, if there's one thing it lacks...it's depth. Great graphic, great play...but there could be more.

I've got MGS (one of them) but uninstalled it. Now, it won't fit on my computer Shocked I don't have 7.5 gigs Rolling Eyes

Hey, I've decided upon a new favourite. I'd say it's a contender for best game ever...Microsoft's Freelancer. If anything lacks in that...it's Trent & Jun'ko don't get it on Sad But I recommend this game to any that ever played and liked Frontier - Elite II (Amiga), or anyone who generally enjoys space trade/combat types Thumbs Up

I have to agree with donsadolfan. Delta Force is awesome. However, I'm more of UT2004 person now. Running over people in vehicles is so fun.

unfortunatly i don't have as much time to play games as i used to, but there are still a couple i try to play.

sof2 multiplayer- i lent my cd to a friend but i have the goldrush stand-alone multiplayer mod. it's so much fun sniping n00b snipers

thief- a wonderful old first person strategy game. the only game i've actually seen that pulls off you being able to sneak around (splinter cell took a bunch of stuff from it). i got the new thief (deadly shadows) but it's just not as good as the old ones. this game is my personal favorite

guild wars- although still in beta i've preordered a copy so i get to play on the monthly beta tests

baldur's gate- great games, i'm a big D&D nerd so i enjoy them much.

I do hope this isn't a bad word here, but I've played EverQuest for a bit over 5 years now.
So as far as playability, I'd say that one has my money lol.
Recently however, I've been enjoying World of Warcraft.
Played City of Heroes for a while, and it's probably one of the most entertaining games I've found, however it's replay value was Really horrible for me. I had a hell of a lot of fun on it for a good month or two, but just got burned out on the twitch play of it. Which I certainly hope won't be the same for WoW.

As for non-pay-to-play games. I've always enjoyed a few hours on Fallout2, and have spent days on end on The Sims. But the one that gets me hooked the most, is still Arkanoid. Smile
Perhaps it's the whole "I played this for days on Atari" aspect of it, but it's just a damn fun game either way! Go Go Retro!

For FPS's, I enjoy America's Army, Quake 3 Arena (I love the bounce level's!), BF1942, and CoD looks to be hella fun from watching buddy's play.

There's an old MMO space shooter out there called Subspace (Or Continuum now) that was origionally produced by Virgin Ent. But was scrapped, though you can still play it on player run server's, the game is 110% functional, nothing was changed, and Virgin in fact simply "gave" the game to it's fans when they tossed the idea. www.subspacehq.net to find it if ever interested. free game, and a bit of fun to burn a few hours.

/shameless plug off.

But anyways, yah, subspace was a fun game for that genre
For console, I enjoyed Halo 1, THPS 1, 2, and 4. (3rd one sucked), and Underground 1 & 2 are great!
Oldschool RPGish: Heroes of Might And Magic serise was fun, Age of Empires wasted days, and I spent lots of $$'s playing Dune 2 at an internet cafe when they first started getting popular.

Hmm, guess I'm out of games offhand now lol.
Hope anyone can relate, or remenisce on some of the older ones. =)

Favorite Fighting Games - Soul Calibur 2, Power Stone 2, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2

Favorite RPG - Earthbound (Old Skool baby!)

Favorite FPS - Half-life 2 and Unreal Tournament 2k4

I'm also a DDR and Interactive Gaming fan, anyone else feel mind-numbingly attracted to these games?
