I always saw that as the colour is the rating and the number of heads besides it is the quantity of people who have given a review in that category. At least that's how it works in Fx plugin.

@Paul: I don't think it's one green object, rather small amount of people have reviewed CC in that cat and overall result is green.

Yes, interesting results for CC:

Trustworthiness - 4/5
Vendor Reliability - 1/5
Privacy - 1/5
Child Safety - 3/5

Yeah well wiki.castlecops.com doesn't fare as well:

Trustworthiness - 1/5
Vendor Reliability - 1/5
Privacy - 1/5
Child Safety - 2/5

It makes me question the basis of WOT ratings. Confused

BTW, I moved this topic to the Security forum as a more appropriate venue.

On the contrary, wiki is also green rated. Please have a look at my previous reply here.

I wanted to let you know that WOT is releasing a beta of version 3 this week. Our enhancements include a Website Reputation Scorecard. Our aim is to make WOT more useful and relevant by providing a means to reveal underlying data explaining a site’s rating, and allowing community members to leave comments.

By the way, I checked the scorecard to see the detailed ratings of Castle Cops, and there is an occurrence of CC appearing on a spam blacklist. Interestingly enough there are references to it in all sorts of foreign language wikipedias too!

Would you be interested in be included on the beta test team?

Welcome to CastleCops. Unfortunately I don't have any extra cycles to help out, but perhaps you'll want a dedicated forum here?

We have just released the beta version of WOT 3, and here is the Castle Cops scorecard.

There was a question earlier about the ratings, and I think there was a misunderstanding about the shaded figures next to the rating bar. Those figures show, in a graphical way, how much supporting evidence there is behind a rating, or in other words the confidence level. It’s not the actual number of people who have rated the site. When users can rate websites anonymously, the number of ratings doesn't necessarily tell you how much the rating can be trusted. However, the confidence indicator takes each user's trustworthiness into account and tells you pretty accurately how reliable the rating is.

Castle Cops had a previous occurrence of appearing on a spam listing. We checked into it, and it has been removed because it was an old and no longer valid.

Please download WOT version 3 beta now, and let us know what you think.

Wow, looks nicer the web interface. Good work on that.

Curious though what spam listing that was?

Oh, my bad. Didn't mean to spread misinformation.

Guess my male's tech intuition can fail Sad
