knoppix is a linux disto that run from a cd!!!

So what's your take on knoppix? Is it a good intro to Linux, and will it help make a decision on whether to pursue a bonafide partition & install?

Great if you plan to use KDE. Also good to see if your hardware is supported.

Similar distros are probably availabe if you are a Gnome fan.
