The server in China is very slow, so i've uploaded it here. - Your Download-Link #1: http://rapidshare.com/files/12501167/IceSword_v1.20_VISTA_English_Version.zip.html

-

Also includes - FileReg Plug-in 1.1

FileReg.icp is a plug-in for IceSword 1.20. It can access the disk partitions directly with the help of IceSword's functions. So it can manipulate the disks and registry keys directly, bypassing some Windows system components, like ntfs.sys, fastfat.sys and Windows NT Configuration Manager, and of course, rootkits.

-

Interestingly, the FileReg Plug-in is written in English, but the IceSword help file is still in Chinese ! So an article that you may find helpful is - How to Remove Rootkits with IceSword - CastleCops Link/t165203-IceSword_Instructions_in_English_Illustrated.html

Hi,

Yes i was aware of the V1.2 DL links you referred to, but that is the previous version. The one i have linked to, and made available, is the NEW updated version !

Your MD5: 14573E30ABBBE576ED739EC7866E5939

New MD5: 815CDCF4D9561954772E78A0A30C0CFC

Out of interest i attempted to DL the older version from both your links -

http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/2382/isdl1zz.png

The average was 8kb/Sec from both.

I have a fast broadband connection, so i presume it must have been a busy time at the servers end when i tried ?

Regards,

Spanner

Has anyone found a rootkit that works on vista yet? If so send me to the topic. From what i understand, there are no rootkits for Vista as of yet.
