Curious if folks are using this feature?
I personally haven't been, as I forget its there. Yes I'm debating on removing the personal bookmark -> the moat population routine.
Comments against?

If you decide to eliminate that please give us some warning as I have some topics in there that I would want to bookmark in the browser first.
It is a handy thing, but as you said is easy to forget. The functionality can be had in the browser so I am not going to kick and scream if it goes away.

Sorry for not elaborating myself better...
So the bookmarks won't be eliminated (I have to improve it actually), what I'm thinking of doing is disabling the bookmarks you have sent to the Moat -- they won't show up there anymore (cutting down on sql queries).

'nuff said! Sounds like it is too expensive to keep. Do what you gotta do, Paul.

We're a very high read environment, so taking out a query like that won't affect us largely. So I'm curious if the functionality is being used by folks?

I've never used it - all my bookmarks are browser-based or held in documents.

I've used it in the past to reference topics that were helpful to others with the same/similar problems. Now I reference CCW for high frequency problems/solutions
