I just downloaded and email from a guy who gave me the link to his site and asked why it no longer pointed at the site. Included is the link
I am about to ask him if he has a backup of the site and suggest he reload it if he has and change the domain password. Anyone have anything else we should be aware of so I can pass it on. The domain providers have given him an answer similar to mine although the gist of their concern is in suggesting they have no liability. (see below)
Code:
http://www.video-property.com/index.php
Link disabled by moderator
It should be a real estate site
The letter from the web hosters is included below. Neither he or I have dealt with permissions (666/777) so I think the email from his webhosting company looked like an alien language.....
1) Looks like you were hacked, so you'll need to look into restoring a backup
2) I checked server logs, noone get in our end which means either a) insecure password you used, b) 666/777 permissions were used on your scripts, or c) insecure scripts were used
3) You will not be compensated for your own error.
