I suggest that CC establish a separate forum for discussion of behavior blocker & other HIPS-type software.

As a reward for reading my suggestion HERE are some truly amaaaaazing sand sculptures. Shocked

I mean the field of this "classic HIPS" is getting really really crowded.

On the freeware side there is neoava guard and EQSecure, DSA not to mention the free versions of SSM, ProSecurity.

Then there is Online Armor 2.0 , Prevx2 going for the user friendliness.

And Comodo 3.0 alpha with their Defense+ is probably going to sweep the field etc etc

Plus the sandbox people, the antivirus and their behavior blockers etc...

Hi Erik. Shalom

The growing field of HIPS actually is one good reason for establishing a separate category for HIPS applications threads, so that posts concerning such apps are less prone to be posted all over h***'s half-acre. Obviously Prevx would be an exception inasmuch as they have their own forum here.

The key word in there, bellgamin, is category. In terms of our brand of forum software a category is a major topic area with forums underneath it. I suspect that it would take exactly that to do the subject justice.

Be forewarned, though, that some of us get pretty hardcore about it and might prove disruptive.
