If you are on windows, take a look at www.mirc.com (30 day trial).
If you're on Mac, try http://colloquy.info/ -OR-

For a free IRC client - capable of attaching to just about any other IM program as well.
http://www.pidgin.im/downloads.php/

For real time F@H help or just to chat:
irc.freenode.net is the server name
#F@H is the channel name.

irc.freenode.net is a default server on pidgin - making it easier to connect.
Just type (without the quotes) "/join #F@H" to enter.
