Unable to start in Graphical mode.

Hi, I just installed linux. Mendrake 9.0

After installation I am able to start in CUI but unable to start it in GUI. When I type startx it gives me fatal error. After some consultation I came to know that it doesn't support my intel's 945 graphics driver. I need latest graphics driver for that.

Please suggest how I can fix this issue?

Unfortunately, they have not certified it for Mandrake, so you will have to try it out and see if you can get it to work. If it doesn't, google, and see if you can find a modified version that will work. If not, my suggestion is to go to a different distro that is supported.
