Lets cause a shift in our own castlecops ecosystem to first always welcome new folks to the site. It is polite, professional, and friendly.

So to kick things off, welcome everyone. I hope this post finds readers well.

Personally, I always try to notice the "Joined" date of a member or guest. If it was within the last week, I start off my response with a "Hi and welcome to CastleCops".

So, Hi Paul and lazydogmot! Even though you two are far from new members, it is still nice to say Hello

I check the number of posts. If it is someone's first post then they deserve a Welcome even if they have been reading the forums for years - it's good when someone new joins in. Very Happy

Mike's posting was a query as to why new users were all of a sudden posting about this particular product - it was neither here nor there as to *where* the posts were made.

In addition, it was interesting that 1 user who was not logged in and 2 users with a total of 2 posts each posted in support of this product. Mike's query was not unusual at all.
