As of Thu Apr 10 09:06:11 EDT 2008:

Unfortunately we have a DDOS (distributed denial of
service attack) currently aimed at our pages, rather
than give you page timeouts and errors I've decided to
show this page for now while we mitigate it.

What a shame and another total waste of time and space. I thank you for letting me know why the site is down. If only these people that make this occur would take their games elsewhere, but I suppose that a DDoS is, in a way, a show that a site is ticking off some people and/or that those same people that play these games have targeted a special site. Between here and DSLR, there has been enough of this DDoS type sport to last a life time and then some. Sad

Somebody may be aware that we're using the kind of information from DSLReports to rapidly identify spamvertised and phish domains, and may not be aware of how many other sources we have for the same information.

Thanks for the announcement, here. Smile At least yesterday we were able to use another source for entry to the site even though it was often slow. Today it seems to be totally down no matter how one tries. Crying or Very sad

I got in for a second some time earlier and then, bam. Gone again. I thought I was nuts when it popped up, but when it died just as quickly, I knew it was not over.

dslreports.com is down at the moment

looks like we'll be down for about a day
unfortunately in order to reconfigure properly
so that the site availability is 100% in future
some hardware (thats things! and hands!) needs
to get shuffled around, and we're hoping to
do that on saturday.
