Hello, let me add some comments here. I have been using win patrol for about a week, and I have already upgraded to the plus version.
I am sorry for the person that posted the lockup problems. That would drive me out of my mind. I have a rule that if a program gives me problems, I take 3 tries at recommendations at fixing it before I remove it and go elsewhere.
With most support people today, they would ask that those tries include....unplug and replug in your pc..uninstall and reinstall the application....and oh..that didnt work?...just spend a few days to a week reloading windows and all of your apps and data.
One thing I can tell already about win patrol is that the guy that writes it really does care about the product, the people that use it, and how it performs.
This is something that is too easily lost in todays world.
I have had no issues with win patrol, and am sure that Bill will do his best to listen, respond and help correct issues if I do.
