I installed Prevx Home and found it to be very thorough,detecting software program changes after updates.It detects registry changes and buffer overflows also.
It was easy to install and use.It works much like the application control in some firewalls.The console was easy to navigate.The Event Details were informational and detailed.I found two processes from Prevx in task manager.
The uninstall was fairly clean.I found 4 registry traces with Ace after using Ace's uninstaller to remove Prevx Home.That's not bad in my opinion.
Support from Prevx was excellent.

Prevx has a privacy link at the homepage explaining that attack data is sent anonymously to their central database.
The bottom line is whether a potential user is comfortable with a program that phones home.
