Compare Product Reviews in this ClassI'm a beta tester of NOD32 and couldn't resist to tell you about the new version coming shortly. I've been testing it for a couple of weeks on a virtual pc and have run tons of new threats to see how the new version deals with them. I can tell that NOD32 picked up about 90-95% of new threats unknown to other AV programs without needing for update !!! With the new option of moving infected files to quarantine in AMON, the resident scanner, I could not get the virtual pc infected whatsover (except those 5-10% not picked up by heuristics).
What's more, IMON, the Ineternet monitor, haven intercepted any trojans / worms / spyware / adware /riskware before they were actually written to the disk. I must add it has never let me down and detected all worms that you can think of (Mydoom, Sober, Bagle, Netsky, etc.) heuristically without needing to update which means it would protect you against 99% of worms at the instant they are created by authors.
NOD32's impressive speed and superb heuristics for detecting not yet known malware, small footprint and 100% detection of In-The-Wild viruses really convinced me to choose NOD32 as my AV program forever. I would say, with NOD32 you'll get more than with any competitive product at the same price.
