Greetings from LeonSprings, Texas USof A,

My O/S Win98SE v4.10.2222A on AMD K6 2 350Mg clock/w 196MG RAM, Mozilla FireFox v1.0.6. Found this PasswordMaker for Mozilla Suite, FF, Netscape, Opera, and many others, there is also one for IE but have not found it yet. So far it is doing a very fine job, encrypts your password for storage on your system and can be used to post UserName and Password to any site you choose or need to use. Their Forum is also very HELPFUL and responsive to your questions with straight forward answers. No mucking around. Very open to suggestions for improvements and also noted the current version is newer than mine and will have to update shortly.

It sets up very easy, do not be scared of the fact it encrypts your password and you do not understand what all takes place. They will take the time to explain it to you and work with you. I was a little intemidated by it and discovered that was not really anything to be frightened about. It is really easy to setup and to use. YES, it may take an hour or two to read and understand what you will need to do, but; it is time well spent for the security and comfort of knowing if you ever get a keylogger on your system after this install will not be a problem. Your passwords will already be stored and NO keystrokes will be required to access them. It is all explained in their HELP files on their website http://passwordmaker.org OH! yes it is also FREE OpenSource Software. Check it out and give us a report of what you think.

I set my scores for all seven (7) items at 8 to give them some room for improvement which they will.

Still leaving their score at 8 they are still improving they had an update I was not aware of until starting to write the ''Review'' at the top.

I am not promoting this software, just giving my opinion about it and their responsiveness to questions and suggestions. That I would set to 10.6 if that could be done.

Just to add some more info for you, they have 9 hash algorithms to choose from and 8 fields that have an influence on the final password. In other words if you change anything within those 8 fields will effect the final password along with the 9 hash algorithms. Some of the hash algorithms available are MD4, MD5, HMAC-SHA-1, SHA-256, HMAC-RIPEMD-160. If you are like myself those do not compute, but; are some of the very best to give your password THE BEST PROTECTION.
