Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal

I have Kaspersky version Personal Pro 5.0 .375 installed on my PC ; Dell dimension 8100 ; Windows XP Pro ; the software is working in a wonderfull way , very efficient ; no viruses were able to infect my PC since this installation ; moreover their support is above any appreciation : quick , detailed , efficient ; what to ask more ? of course , you have the permanent possibility to ask questions on their forum and there is a quick and competent answer . Yes , there might have been some bugs ; I understand how frustrating this can be , but all in all it''s much better than NORTON And Mc Affee , not to speak about their technical service which is zero . Kaspersky deserves absolutely the best consideration OLIVIER GEBUHRER

I downloaded the 30 day free trial of Kaspersky Anti Virus personal version 5.0.388 (latest one on their web site).
It screwed my system good and proper.
I''m running a P4 3.2 with XPHome (all the Updates) and as soon as the installation was complete the program opened about 20 windows of itself and all 20 tried to access the internet to update itself.It then locked up completely.
After a reboot and retry the same thing happened, it also would not allow me to uninstall it.
I had to go into safe mode to get this beast off my system.
