I did not think to ever have to advocate KAV Pers Pro as Antivirus ! This is an outstanding program in every respect . What is true however is that it is working at its best on heavy configurations (80GOand +) as it needs some ressources . if your machine is not very powerfull , I agree , that's not advisable to use it . In other cases , it is highly for the following reasons :
1 Speed and RELIABILITY : for speed it depends on your processor but certainly works in a most quickly way if your processor is above 1.5 GHz ; RELIABILITY IS ABSOLUTE . It will detect anything , letting you to decide wether you wish to destroy the infected file or not .Reports will be complete and easy to manage .
2 Tech service: Above any elogious appreciation ; first of all you have a forum where answers are always given as precisely as possible ;second you have access to support tools which will send to the tech lab the report on your system and you will get a detailed answer on how to get back to a safe configuration . you may call them if you like but that's true , here , you may only let a message ; I did not use it , because I never needed it KAV is there to protect your system , works that way , and you may have to adress the forum to finetune some parameters , but in principle , this is no fancy software , it is there to WORK not to crash your PC .So the tech service will not come to be used in most cases ; if you ever need it it will answer promptly , efficiently and bring you the best possible solution .
