After a very long time, I have come to use this product again. When one knows how to set it up, I think that they will come to find that it is perhaps the best of the free ones available. I couldn't be more pleased on how this one has been in all aspects. I through the generosity of a benefactor am using the PRO version until September, I will state now that after that date I will continue to use the free version.

I have tried and tested most of the AV software around Avast interface isn''t pretty and gives an awful lot of false posatives --- at least 2 better geniunely free AV programs around.

I''d agree that this is the best of the free ones out there, and has an interesting interface. However many false positives and when scanning inside of 3rd party software i.e. WinRar or FlashGet, it uses a seperate module, which is a cut down version of the main program and all to often is unable to remove any viruses it detects. However if funds are tight then this is a nice package.
