Fie on thee Norton of the supposed antivirus!

Fie on thee and a pox upon your house and the employee or employees that created your foul slugs that lurk in hidden places in the registry.

After removing the foetid breath of your foulness over a year ago, cleaning it with both the add/remove and then a manual search......

Your foul nastieness struck out from the dank graves of the registry within which your wicked minions buried the traces of your nasty presence....

While updating the fine, chaste, pure AntiVir home, you reached out of your grave and struck, grabbed and attempted to strangle my system, the Windoze of the 2K.......

For HOURS, because of the way in which your dark slugs of excuses for programs strangled the system I searched until I found THEE......and thou are finally....... I HOPE .....gone....gone...gone....

What a piece of trash Symantec as a corporation is.....after supposedly uninstalling everything a year ago....the piece of trash treated AntiVir as a virus and every other program on the system as a virus......

I, RESPECTFULLY submit.....that if YOU think you need an antivirus program and were thinking of Norton...... to FORGET it!

Norton AntiVirus Pro

My Score:

Ha ha, bravo, bravo... I had Symantec Norton AV a few years back for my first system. It must have been the 2004 version. It performed adequately. However I decided to try another AV/Firewall in Trend Micro PC cillin. Upon removing Norton AV/Firewall from my system I immediately was greeted with a slew of lock-ups and error messages. It appears that the program was so deeply ingrained in my system that without it my system ran quirky at best.To say the least I was not happy with the results. The only thing that fully corrected the errors was a clean install of the OS, which was a major pain. My experience was so frustrating I will never get a Symantec product again...
