MailControl

A a personal email firewall, MailControl constantly monitors what is being sent. When you send an e-mail message, a pop-up alert will ask you how to handle the e-mail. You may block the e-mail, allow it or create a rule for MailControl to automatically process following e-mails.

You have four choices when an e-mail from a new application is sent. You may block or allow that single message. You may also block or allow all messages sent from that application.

The program's system tray icon provides a handy menu that enables you to configure the application or modify the rules that designate which programs on your computer are allowed to access the Internet.

You can freely download MailControl for personal and non-profit use from the MailControl Web page. But business, education, and government users need to pay a license fee of $19.95 per seat.

  • I have been using this application for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with it. Questions all emails that go out. I am using it with AVG anti-virus,Kerio Firewall and a NAT Router. So far I have logged no escapes. One happy camper with this combination. Very simple application and easy to use. I say give it a try I'm sure you will like it too.
