Pros: Its been the best anti-virus program for me! Easy, uncluttered interface, direct navigation, detects all viruses that've tried to sneak into my system (wayyy better than norton's which I use at work) also the simplest of all anti-virus programs I've tried. If I had 5 thumbs, I'd point em all up for this nifty little programme! Best of all, its Free (though not for long...)! AVG Anti-Virus Free Ed has never clashed with any system settings or other program's.
Cons: No malware detections (thank god spybot is free..). No Firewall settings (look on the bright side, Zonealarm is free!) The licensed version have options for malware protection and firewall settigns but it seems to have exactly the same virus fighting abilities as the free version.
Conclusion: I've never tried the customer support cos I never had a need for it. (Who needs customer support man?) Yes its that reliable for my system (winXP, 24/7 online capability, plenty of online game playing and web surfing, plus updating of websites and stuffs). However, I'm actually quite sad at the condition of the website. AVG really needs to spruce their online presence with a top notch designer, or else it'll look like some cheap company's cheam programme (which it is totally not!). Last word, definitely value for money (hey, its free!)!
