Hi All, I am not a know it all, but I know enough about computers to make a living repairing them. I love AVG Free, It does a great job for everyday BASIC anti-virus protection. I find that it works well on older computers that do not have a lot of horsepower or ram to spare. If you are a smart user, careful with what you download, then this is for you. Works well with dial up access, as after the initial install, the updates are of a easily downloadable size. I have literally installed AVG Free on over 500 computers, Many times after having took Norton off, Many times before the install is complete, it has found a virus. Highly recommend it.
