I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.

I started having some symptoms of virus-related problems a while back. Using Norton, I tried to find the problems and fix them. This shoud have worked since the program was always up to date and turned on. Norton failed to reveal anything, so I wasted a lot of time looking for other problems.

I also had couple problems with Norton telling me my computer was infected.... And that's it. I had to remove a couple of Trojans and fix everything myself.

As it happened, my norton subscription was set to expire soon. Rather than pay this exorbitant fee as I always had, I decided to switch to AntiVir on advice from a friend. This was no easy task, as Noron is horrible to uninstall. It must be done manually, piece by piece. This really messed up my PC and took even longer to fix.

On top of that, Norton failed to catch a handfull of Trojan horses and minor viruses that AntiVir handled immediately. In my opinion, I was lucky to save the computer at all.

This program is awesome for taking up space and costing lots of money....... so it can fail to its job as adequately as a free program. Do not trust it unless you want the problems it should prevent and all kinds of disasters upon its removal.
