Unfortunatly Big Brother is upon us all, I frequently use programs like Adaware to protect me, but there are times that software like Spybuddy has to be used.
I know in the UK and a few places around the world on national news programs there is concern over the use of Chat Rooms by our younger members of families and as much as we hate it, software has to be created to check on What is happening when we can not look directly over shoulders.
This software has a lot of good uses, finding out passwords, wow, that is fround upon, but if used correctly helps to check on events that may unfold and cause other problems.
Checking on times of use of internet and use also important, this software certainly helps check on the unknown.
There are times when restricted use of computer and internet are needed other than children, this soiftware again is good.
It is shown on web site as compatible for all Windows operating systems, yes it is, BUT it is only when searching deep into support questions do you find that it does not work with Windows XP limited user accounts. I as an administrator wanted to restrict certain use and access as XP was designed for, sorry, can not be done with this software, it needs rethinking and needs to take into account how XP and other programs are set up and sold.
For general use 9 out of 10, but for use under XP limited use a big ZERO
