Compare Product Reviews in this ClassI have found, over the years, Norton Anti-Virus to be as good as ANY anti-virus software.
Not Pro, NIS, Firewall, or Works. (to much overhead)
I have run versions since at least 2002, probably as far back as 2000.
I encourage to run with Norton Anti-Virus the following:
Webroots's Spy Sweeper. (Get a license!),
Ad-Aware SE Personal is also good,
as is Spybot S&D 1.3.
A firewall is also needed, it has saved me twice.
I use the one built into the Linksys Router.
I believe in Norton Anti-Virus (only), and have had no problems on any system ever installed.
98, 98-SE, 2K, 2k-Pro, XP, XP-Pro.
