I find Nortons to be a big bust. I used Nortons Internet Security for several months and had sevral viruses that were never identified until I installed AVG. Until recently, removal of Nortons involved uninstalling and digging through the system registry for all the keys and values. In addition Nortons butts heads witth many other software products. I give Norts a big thumbs down......

I think Norton''s customer service stinks. I just got sick of them - they don''t mind taking your money once a year, but Heaven forbid you have an issue that needs resolving. I left them for Trend Micro PC-Cillin.

I agree, Norton tends to absorb massive memory overhead as well as take the opportunity to reset Outlook client settings for localhost...causing you to have to change your pop3 and smtp server setting back to where they were. Major pain! Looking for an alternative...try TrendMicro''s Pc-cillan Internet Security (www.trendmicro.com). Excellent software...
