Greetings friends. CastleCops is at the point now after six years of operation where we need higher performing servers. The month of February has brought lots of online/offline issues and we've deemed them to be I/O constraints. The web and database servers are high load and bottlenecks are input and ouput. Better systems will enable us to continue "making cybercriminals unhappy since 2002"*.

We are running this donation drive marathon in the hopes of collecting $21,422.68 USD an estimated $15,000 USD. We'll have some quotes by next week with exact figures. Please note, CastleCops is not a 501(c)(3), but ISC is (see below).

The two systems we are getting quotes for ($10,711.39 USD each some preliminary prices bring it to about $7.5k each):

Any help from the community and industry partners to help fund the purchase of these two systems is greatly appreciated. Please note, PayPal takes a percentage of anything donated. If you'd like to make a donation keeping the fee intact, you can send a check in the mail to the address below. Please email Paul Laudanski (paul -at- castlecops -dot- com) to let him know. Thank you all.

A few hours after we launched this marathon ISC.org, a 501(c)(3), has agreed to help administer funds and operate the servers dedicated to CastleCops. If you would like to donate to CastleCops via ISC.org instead, please send to this address (paypal -at- isc -dot- org) at PayPal or a check to "Internet Systems Consortium" at this U.S. address (Internet Systems Corsortium, 950 Charter Street, Redwood City, CA 94063). Please make mention in a memo that the donation is for "CastleCops New Servers".
