Hello alundra,
These are hidden files. To allow hidden files to be viewed:
Start Menu>My Computer>Tools Menu and then Folder Options. Click on the View tab, and under Hidden Files and Folders click the Show Hidden Files and Folders button.
FYI, your Windows Help contains a procedure for creating a boot disk.

Hello alundra,
To access Windows Help:
Clicking "Start"on your desktop and then clicking "Help" on the menu will open the Windows Help Window.
For information on creating a boot disk:
In the Windows Help window, click on the "Index" tab, type "boot disk" in the keywords box, and then click on the "Display" button.
