Hi negster,
I am going to Sticky this thread so you can put future updates here too. Is that okay with you? (If not I can change it back.)
Your Prince.

This may be a stupid question, but is there any way to import that list of domains in Internet Explorer to block access to them?
I check under the "Content Advisor" tab, but it looks like you would have to enter each URL separately.

Not a stupid question. Although I haven't cross-checked, some CWS sites are probably automatically blocked by the MVPS HOSTS file which was just updated on 02-28-05:

The combination of that with these two preventative security programs, and secure browser settings, should protect you pretty well:
1.) Download and install SpywareBlaster to protect your PC:
SpywareBlaster will block bad ActiveX and harmful cookies from getting on your PC in the first place. Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks.

2. ) Download and install IE-SPYAD, another good preventative spyware program:
IE-SPYAD is a Registry file (IE-ADS.REG) that adds a long list of sites and domains associated with known advertisers, marketers, and hijackers to the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer.

3.) Browser settings for increased security:

Plus, you can always add additional sites to your host file by editing it in notepad or using a program like Winpatrol. _________________ Negster22 - MS MVP - Consumer Security 2006-2008

WebHelper also maintains a very complete list of CWS domains which is categorized alphabetically or by IP address. He includes the corresponding IP address for each domain:
