***MODIFIED ENTRY***
Here is the existing entry in your database.
Existing Entry
Name (Value) or Startup Item: InCD
Startup Status: N
Command or Data: incd.exe
Description: Ahead InCD packet writing software. Similar to DirectCD. On my system there isn't an entry, on another visitor's there is. Run manually before insert an appropriately formatted CD-RW disk.
Suggested Revision
The Startup Status is different, depending on whether you have Nero 5.x (InCD3) or Nero 6.x (InCD4). You may wish to create two separate entries in the database for InCD.exe.
Registry Key: HK_LM:Run (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run)
Name (Value) or Startup Item: InCD
Startup Status: see below
- Y for Nero 6.x
- N for Nero 5.x
Command or Data: incd.exe
Developer: Ahead Software
Web Site: http://www.nero.com
Description: Ahead InCD packet writing software. Similar to DirectCD. On my system there isn't an entry, on another visitor's there is.
- For Nero 5.0 or 5.5 (InCD3), it does not need to start with Windows. You can run InCD.exe manually before inserting an appropriately formatted CD-RW (CD-MRW) disk.
- For Nero 6.0, 6.3 or 6.6 (InCD4), it does need to start with Windows. It does not function correctly when you try to run it manually, and you will not have write access to MRW (Mount Rainier) formatted CD-RW (CD-MRW) or DVD-MRW disks. To regain write access and other features, InCD 4 must start with Windows.
Startup info provided by:
- Nero BurningROM 5.5 (InCD3)
- Nero Ultra Edition 6.3/6.6 (InCD4)
- CastleCops Startup List ( /StartupList.html)
- SysInfo Startup List (http://sysinfo.org/startuplist.php)
- Spybot SD 1.4
- Windows XP Pro SP2 MSCONFIG
- Windows XP Pro SP2 RegEdit
- Windows Me MSCONFIG
- Windows Me RegEdit
- Windows 98se MSCONFIG
- Windows 98se RegEdit

You're welcome. I hope to contribute much to the cause.
The CastleCops startup list has been updated. The one at SysInfo has not. The one on other sites has not. Aren't they all connected?
I thought SysInfo was the primary database, the one that is updated first, and that CastleCops was just a mirror for it? Which site has the primary list, and how often are the mirrors synchronized?
Which site contains the list that integrates with the Spybot program?
