It looks like I will be building a second tech machine . There is no way I will beta test vista on my main machine but because of my line of work I have to learn all of vista's quirks and fixes .
Can you dual boot vista beta with xp ? I might do this to my home machine .

Can you dualboot Vista from an external USB2.0 HD? I don't have the 'required' 15GB on my internal HD but just got the Vista DVD in the mail today and have a 200GB external drive. I ordered the Vista disk just to be guaranteed to get RC2 when it comes out but if I can dualboot, I may try it. _________________ "Mortality is the greatest gift of all; To be immortal is to be scarcely alive - life in its entirety is a prelude to death and if you cannot die you can never truly live." --Jane Lee

My download seems to be corrupt. I got the file burned, I started installing it, but I get this error when I'm copying my files during the installation
process, at 62%:
An error occurred while copying Setup files onto your local machine. Error code is [80070241].
I'm not sure what file needs replacing.
