I hope someone can help me out here...I am no expert here so I am asking if ZA might be causing problems with yahoo im 8.0?

I had YIM 7.0 with no problems at all until I upgraded to 8.0. All of sudden, I had nothing but problems. So I uninstalled 8.0 and went back to 7.0 alas problems came back I don't understand.

I uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times rebooted each time. I even used yremover.exe and I closed ZA before installing YIM I can still use messages but kept me offline and online few secs every 15 mins or so....getting to be very very annoying!

I like ZA but if causing problems with YIM then I need another good firewall. I need YIM as I depends on it.

Windows XP sp2 home edition, Avast, ZA, ewido, spywareblaster, winpatrol, winpatrol and spysweeper(only scanner). Because I am using ewido real time.

What do you suggests I should do?? I appreciated any help. Thank you...Rose

I discovered something tonight...it wasn't Zone Alarm because I wasn't using my yahoo im when something happened. I noticed it was the same thing happened to yahoo im offline and online few secs. I think it is some kind of hiccups. I don't know how to explain it...It happened while I was surfing around. It has to be connection so I will have to call our ISP to find out. Thank you...Rose BTW I have DSL thru phone line.

Does the version of ZA you are using have IMSecure in it?
