Hello everyone. Now have ZA free 6.1.744.001 on my PC, and was wondering if adding PG Free would benefit in any way?

I haven't used it, but I don't see why not. _________________ For ZoneAlarm help http://www.donhoover.net

Thanks Hoov. I was now considering Cyberhawk instead, and was wondering if you've heard of that. I am also using AVG Free now instead of Antivir. My second question to you is. Do you think AVG Free with ZA Free is more than enough protection to compensate for the detection rates that Antivir has been given the credit for having? And my third and final question. Would I gain anything by doing a clean uninstall of ZA Free 6.1.744 and then installing the latest release, or should I wait and see more reports on the 6.5.731 version first? Thanks and I appreciate your time and respect your answers.

Never heard of Cyberhawk, so I have no opinion there. As for AVG, I have been using it for a while now, and it hasn't let me down at all. I am very pleased with it, and recommend it out to those I help.
As for clean install, if you are having no problems, don't worry about it.
As for protection, you need to add a malware scanner like AdAware and Spybot S&D.
As for updates, try the newest version. Its generally safest to have the newest version out. _________________ For ZoneAlarm help http://www.donhoover.net

Thanks for the reassurance in AVG Free Hoov. I was using Antivir, but my PC seems to run quicker with AVG. I just want to make sure though, if you think that version 6.5.731 will enhance any noticeable security, and speed over the 6.1.744.001 version? Or should I let sleeping dogs lie for now? Thanks again.
