I used to get using RegSeeker 18 things showing up over and over. Seen to come back after a boot up.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.NCH]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zm3"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MDZ]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zm2"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MDA]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zm1"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.DBX]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zm0"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.WSH]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zly"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.WSF]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlx"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.VBS]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlv"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.VBE]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlu"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.VB]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="z1"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MST]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlm"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MDE]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zli"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MDB]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlh"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JSE]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zlf"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.JS]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="z0"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.CMD]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zl5"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.BAS]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zl2"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ADP]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zl1"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ADE]
"ZAMailSafeExt"="zl0"
But RegSeeker has a Exclusion List you can add things to.
I like that so if you know there is something that should not be deleted but keeps showing up you add it to the list and then it will not show up anymore so you don't have to worry about deleting it.
Like I have a batch file to kiil the flash and when I do it point to the flash plugin as no longer being there but I do not want regseeker to delete anything in the registry on it. So I hide it by adding it to the RegSeeker Exclusion List.

Same here....happens every single time it's run.
Tried to edit this registry entry and for some reason it reappears.
Not a big issue, but would be curious as to what causes it.

OK I ran the scan and don't have the same problem. Is your installation one that has been updated at least once, or is it a clean install of ZA.
By the way I am using the latest release of ZASS. _________________ For ZoneAlarm help http://www.donhoover.net

hi Hoov,
My ZA is a new installation of version 6.5.731.000.
ZA is working fine as far as I am concerned and as ups4 says whilst it's not a problem I too am curious to know what causes it. Regards

I finally was able to duplicate this, not sure how I finally did it, but I will try to discover the reason. _________________ For ZoneAlarm help http://www.donhoover.net

Hi Hoov, In Ccleaner/Issues if you uncheck the ActiveX and Class issues line , you will not get the icon error msg. Hope this clue helps.

I have looked into it, and it appears to be a coding problem. It will get fixed. _________________ For ZoneAlarm help http://www.donhoover.net
