Greetings,

I see you've managed to fit the Crab Nebula into your signature.

Well done!

Who needs a TARDIS!? - Perhaps we should start calling you "The Doctor"! Wink

I've always thought of it as a strangely lit lagoon seen from above.

There are so many spectacular images out there on the internet that one is hard-pressed to choose a list of favourites.

A few of mine are the following:

NGC3372 - The Great Carina Nebula - Eta Carinae and Keyhole:
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0603/KeyholeMapped_moore_f.jpg

In this close-up, it looks like an aerial view of a coastline with sand seen through clear water and a small island to the west:
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0002/carina_herhst_big.jpg

NGC6543 - The Cat's Eye Nebula (enhanced to show "rings"):

NGC2392 - The Eskimo (or "Clownface") Nebula:

...Ah, yes - of course...

4 ..., Nf6

Very Happy

Kindest regards,

Dragan Glas

Greetings,

I assume that you really wanted your move to be 4. ..., Nf6. If that is indeed correct, then I shall naturally reply with

5. Nc3

and ask that you edit your post so as to preclude confusion. And now comes the fateful selection of variation. Wink

Thanks for those other links!

Best regards,
RL

Greetings,

You see what happens when you're gazing at the heavens instead of the board? Wink

[Corrected, as requested.

I've also corrected the image links - the first I've replaced with a wide-field image and the second, which seems to have reverted to the same as the first from a redirected image, I've replaced with another link to the correct image.

If all that makes sense!]

Look over there!! Surprised

5 ..., a6

Whistling

Did you think that, since I'd posted an image of a nebula from the constellation Draco, that I'd play my usual...!? Wink

Kindest regards,

Dragan Glas

Greetings,

The Najdorf it is!

6. Bg5

Thanks for making that correction. After 10 moves, I will post a Summary Move List if you will post the board position.

Yes it all made sense, somehow or other. Laughing One of the interesting things about astronomical images is to compare them as a function of the spectral region utilized to obtain the image. Very revealing exercise!

Best regards,
Doctor Who Wink

Greetings,

So did your statement ... I think... unsure

Very Happy

This will be my last move tonight - I've turned into a pumpkin,...which must mean it's after midnight.

6 ..., e6

Kindest regards,

Dragan Glas
