Hiya,

Sorry if this is suggested somewhere but just way too many posts to try to weed through and find out lol.

I'd love to see a separate setup for processing Manually marked emails. Most especially the blacklisted ones. I'd love to have it automatically delete my manually marked blacklisted without deleting "all" blacklisted as the program is still in learning mode for me yet and I'd lose quite a bit of emails if I set it to process auto on blacklist as it stands now.

By processing only those manually set we can be almost 100% sure that anything deleted "should" be deleted and not have to even deal with them again later when they send more stuff. Gets tiring to see the same things show up all the time yet still have to check the listings for them as they show up. thanks for a great program and the newsletter recently that took so much stress out of my email processing.

Actually you might be better served by spending your time training the learning tool and skipping blacklisting for the most part.

The reason is that most spam comes from spammers that forge the e-mail address. That means you are blacklisting innocent folks that have had their addresses stolen by the spammer or randomly generated addresses that change with every spam run.

The blacklist does still have some value, for folks that get a small amount of mail from a couple accounts it is handy to blacklist idiots that keep sending jokes and such, not spammers. For folks that check several accounts and see the same spam on each of them it can be handy to use the blacklist to tag all the copies at once, doing this though you want to have a couple day expire time on the blacklist.
