I am having this ebayer spamming me with his auction links, and ebay just disregards my complaints as "spoof".

The eBay user is 'brians20'. Complain again to eBay that he is spamming you, and hope that you reach the ONE eBay suppport person that has more than one brain cell and doesn't spend their day chanting the eBay support mantra... 'eBay is perfect... it's always the user's fault...'.

Be prepared to receive solutions like...

Delete your browser cache
'Firefox Mozilla' is dangerous (yes I DID receive that one)
And plenty of denials...

Seriously, ask in the eBay support forum, the people there are mostly eBay buyers and sellers and may be able to better advise you.

I got loads of similar spam from this same guy ('brians20') trying to sell some stupid stamps.

Trying to report it through SpamCop results in "refuses spamcop resports".

Trying to repeatedly send it to the ebay abuse address results in the same auto-ack, with instructions how to handle "ebay spoofs".

There is no online way (that I could find) to report ebay user abuse. They simply don't want to know about it.

Try reporting him to PayPal - OK, it's the same company these days but if he is registered with them they may suspend or terminate his account.

If you can't go and slap him round the side of the head in person, hit him somewhere else where it hurts... like his wallet.
