I'm using Firefox v2 with the cookiesafe add-on, which is set to allow castlecops.com.
Each time I visit this site, I need to log-in, complete with the numeric image thing. The log-in then takes me to the main Castlecops page.
I've noticed that while browsing this site, my cookiesafe icon displays the icon indicating that cookies are only accepted for the session, despite my settings that cookies are fully allowed from this site (except for 3rd party). Checking the active cookies, there seem to be no Castlecops cookies either allowed or blocked.
Does Castlecops do something weird with cookies?

I suspect that your problem is either related to your CookieSafe extension or perhaps to another Firefox extension or third-party application (privacy, firewall, cleaning etc) that deletes/blocks cookies.
Try going into Firefox SafeMode and disable all extensions/themes. Set your cookie prerferences in your browser. If your problem is no longer present, it was an installed extension/theme which you will have to identify by trial-and-error. If your problem persists, it could be due to a corrupt profile or a third-party application that affects your cookies.
You might also try using the CookieCuller extension instead of CookieSafe.

Thanks for your help k027
I've been very happy with the Cookiesafe extension & as I am only getting the issue on this site, I don't really want to change my system which has worked well for me.
I have just deleted all Castlecops cookies & also deleted the Cookiesafe settings for this site. I have reset cookiesafe to allow all cookies from Castlecops & it seems a little better as there is no indication that cookies are being held for the session only. _________________ Windows Vista 32bit Business SP1 | MS ISA 2004 Firewall | Nod32 v2.70.32 | Prevx2 v1.0.2 build 127 | SpywareBlaster v4.1 | Firefox v3.01
