I use Outlook for collecting mail but do this manually, leaving Mailwasher Pro (MP) minimised in the system tray and set to check mail every 5 minutes. When new mail arrives, if it is not blacklisted then a notification symbol appears on the MP icon, which is great. If it is spam, however, nothing happens.
That makes it less intrusive, but if, say, a little red dot could appear or something similar, it would mean that I would not have to restore MP every time I want to use outlook (say for sending etc) as I often do this and then curse as a load of spam loads into my mail client, because I didn't double-check with MPfirst. The red dot would be a quick and easy visual warning that there was junk waiting to be downloaded and it would prompt me to check my MP screen before clicking send/receive.
Sorry if this feature is already included and I just haven't found it or if this has been suggested many times before.
