Hi,
New to this forum.
Does anyone know how to use Remote Assistance with ZAP active on both computers (the one initiating the request and the one accepting the request). I was able to run ZAP and accept a request for Remote Assistance, but the person initiating the request needed to disable ZAP. I thought perhaps it was the other person's configuration, so I reversed the roles. I initiated the remote assistance request and the other person requested, but unless I disabled ZAP, a connection could not be established.
Is there a way around this? One reason I want to use Remote Assistance was to inspect my father's ZAP settings as he invariably seems to hose this up from time to time.
Thanks for any help.

First, you cannot modify settings remotely unless you disable "protect the zonealam client" in the overview tab. Try placing the other computer in the trusted zone and see if it works then.
