Hello
I had previously used, then uninstalled Prevx 1 because resource usage was just too great. It used 40-45 Mb RAM and noticeably slowed the system.
Is Prevx 2.0 in any better in this regard? What do you see as typical RAM usage /CPU load?

Thanks

this is always a problem to define. people often use different values of memmory usage interchangeably. i for a very long time used Virtual Memory as the standard by which to measure memory usage. and to compound that i use a different tool than many use. Process Explorer, rather than Task Manager.

if one goes by "Working Set" which is system memory, then as i type this, according to Process Explorer Prevx is using:

pxagent-3540k of system memory

pxconsole-5172 of system memory, combined under 10megs of RAM (system memory) very reasonable if not downright excellent.

if you use Virtual Memory to measure resource usage, well then it's a whole different story. presently on my system Prevx is using a combined over 250megs of VIRTUAL MEMORY. i believe either standard will work as long as they are used uniformily.
